CHEILANTE Manzoni Bianco Rubicone IGP – Italian
The fruit of a marriage between Riesling and Pinot Blanc, the Manzoni Bianco vine quickly attracted the interest of winegrowers throughout Italy. Cheilante offers a precious example of the Romagnola declination of this grape, blending the typical refinment with a tich aromatic profile, strongly influenced by strongly influenced by the geological features of the Santerno Valley.
Intense and complex, Cheilante combines zippy flowery notes with juicy tropical hints, while the marked acidity balances perfectly the great alcoholinc strenght. Preferably served cool (10-12°C), it works perfectly alongside raw fish dishes, seafood and shellfish but also with delicate meats (lamb) and short-to-medium aged cheeses.
